Restaurant POS software for Ghana: tables, tabs and kitchen tickets
Restaurants, chop bars and cafés sell dishes made from ingredients, not boxes off a shelf. Akoma POS has a restaurant mode that takes orders by table or tab, sends them to the kitchen and takes stock off the ingredients you actually used.
- Tables, named tabs and rounds of orders
- Kitchen, bar and grill stations with a ticket screen or printed tickets
- Modifiers, sizes and combos
- Recipe-based ingredient stock and food-cost margins
- Split bills between cash and mobile money
Tables, tabs and rounds
Open a bill for a table or a named tab and add rounds of orders through the visit. Settle the whole bill, pay by items, or split between cash and mobile money.
Kitchen, bar and grill tickets
Orders are routed to the right station. A cheap tablet shows tickets oldest first with a one-tap Ready, or you can print the ticket on your thermal printer.
Choices, combos and sizes
Add extra chicken, no onions or a Small or Large size as priced modifiers, and sell combos that deduct their parts from stock.
Stock that follows the recipe
Selling jollof reduces the rice and oil, not a made-up jollof count. Prepare the morning pot in one step and see the food cost and margin on each dish. A "pot is finished" switch stops the till from selling a meal that is gone.
Common questions
Does Akoma POS work for a chop bar or small restaurant?
Yes. You can run it from a phone or a laptop at the counter, with tables or simple tabs, and no kitchen screen is required: tickets can be printed instead.
Can I take mobile money for a restaurant bill?
Yes. Cash, MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash and AirtelTigo Money are all supported, and a bill can be split across them.
Can it track ingredients?
Yes. Give a dish a recipe and every sale deducts the ingredients, so stock and margins reflect what you actually cooked.
